Update, Showings and Bears Oh my!

Man, I’m terrible at updating the blog. I have to start updating this more often. I’m gonna do the once a month thing.

So, here’s the scoop:

1. Our Chicago Outfit segment was selected for MoFest 5! Every year Mo Wagdy puts on an amazing film festival/art show for those hard workers behind the scenes of movies, commercials and music videos. Here is a link to Mofest: http://www.MoFest.com

2. We also hired a new Animator. As you may or may not know, we lost our dear friend Matt Tipton over the summer. He was an amazing friend and an amazing artist. After several meetings, we decided the show must go on. So, we found Alex Sherwood. Alex, brings to the table the art of 2D mixed with 3D animation. His demo reel hit us below the belt…and we liked it!

3. And most importantly, our Final Cut of the project is done, thanks to the hard workers at Uniscope Productions. http://www.UniscopeProductions.com We are now planning on a full showing for the cast and crew, any suggestions would be wonderful!

Post Production!!!!

So, we are in the final swing of things for the first episode of THE LATEST SHOW EVER. Here is a list of awesome amazing things that has happened lately.

1. Uniscope Productions – has finished the final cut of the pilot. We here are very happy with all their hard work and efforts. It looks great. LINK: UniscopeProductions.com

2. Hollus – The majority of the band has watched the rough cut. They love it. We are, in fact, seeing them tonight LIVE at THE MUTINY in CHICAGO. Myspace.com/HollusMusic

3. Matt Tipton – Matt at MattTipton.com – is busy making our show look 110%. He is working hard animating our show intro and overlays. We just got done discussing and colliding our visions, in a good way. We at The Latest Show Ever, are very excited.

4. Blake – Blake Eason, a good friend to The Latest Show Ever, is working with Matt Tipton to create our animated mascot for the show intro. His hand drawings will be turned into the 3D relm by Matt Tipton and animated for the show. We can’t wait! Be sure to check out all of his amazing work – http://blakeinobi.com/!

HOLD ON – First Video Post!!

The Latest BLOG Ever!

While the edit for the pilot episode is underway we, at THE LATEST SHOW EVER, thought:

“Hey, let’s update our cast and crew.”

So here ya go.  The show is shot and we are in edit mode.  Our editor, Kyle Rybak is working hard on editing our featured spots.  Seth Thomas and I went around Chicago and took stills for the animation intro being animated by Matt Tipton.  Also, we are starting to look around for sponsors and hopeful stations to pick up our show.

We should have some video clips very soon, and again, want to thank all of you for helping us out!

I’m not sure how often we will update, but check back every once an a while.  Thanks for stopping in!
